I don't go. 08 de novembro Dynamite !!Aloha !! What're you gonna do in the night of New Year's Eve ?
Almost all of young people in Japan watch live TV shows of MMA or kick-boxing in these
several years. Can you believe that?
A show of MMA is named PRIDE "Otokomatsuri (which means male festival)" and a show
of kick-boxing is named K-1 "Dynamaite !!".
K-1 announces Akebono vs. Bobby Ologun as a match of "Dynamite !!"
As you know, Akebono is the first American-born Sumo grand champion.
Who is Bobby Ologun ? Undefeated professional kick-boxer? Absolutely not !!
He is a rising TV comedian with strange Japanese from Nigeria. What the hell is that ??
Akebono is a Hawaiian legend, who appeared in Wrestlemania 21. He is not a comedian !!
But, but, listen to me carefully. Bobby has a Judo background. He beat Cyril Abidy,
experienced kick-boxer from France, in his first match of "Dynamite !!" held on December
31, 2004. On the other hand, Akebono was KO'd by Hoice Gracie then.
Akebono !!!! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!
31 de julho CorrectionHonolulu Advertiser approximated 12,000 audience in K-1 Grand Prix.
On the other hand, K-1 officially announced 15,000.
What's the difference of 3,000 people. 30 de julho 15,000 Audience !!According to the TV news show broudcast last night, around 15,000 people were in Aloha
Stadium held K-1 Grand Prix. 15,000 !! I can't believe it.
Now I came to know Hawaiian people like kick-boxing. No ?!
Did they want to see Akebono, BJ Penn, or MIke Tyson ? I'm not sure.
Actually any local TV sports news reported K-1 and Akebono last night.
Usually they report excusively Michelle Wie, a golf prodigy. Wie, Wie, Wie........ I get bored.
Result ? Of cource, Akebono was beaten by a Korean giant.
However, another Hawaiian hero, BJ Penn beat Renzo Gracie in the main event.
Anyway, I need more investgation about this topic.
29 de julho Tonight at 8pmK-1 Grand Prix in Hawaii begins at 8pm in Aloha Stadium.
I've decided not to be there because of personal reasons. They are as follows.
The price of the the most expensive seat is $300.
There are thick clouds above my house, which is not located so far from the stadium.
I'm not familar with K-1. It's just a kick-boxing, right ?
The beginning time is too late. Usually I go to bed 10pm. Hahaha.....
However I'll report the results to you afterwards !! 09 de julho K-1 in HawaiiK-1 has started airing commercial messages about K-1 in Hawaii on the local TV programs.
They focus on two local heroes, Akebono and B.J. Penn. |
