On March 23, I saw Micah (Sandy Beach) teaming up with Akebono at Zero1-Max show in Yasukuni shrine, Tokyo.

Aloha! On March 8, CZW show, "Lights, Camera, CZW....." was held at New Alhambra Arena (former ECW Arena) in South Philadelphia.

 

I experienced the crazy night there. Especially when full house of fans witnessed the return of Ian Rotten, who was supposed to just retire. 

 

Furthermore, after Beef Wellington and Greg Excellent won in the 3-way tag-team match, their valet,  Kylie Pierce, was knocked out by frustrated Brodie Lee and went unconcious.

 

Oh, I forgot. I met again with my dear Mickie Knuckles, who fought against Insane Lane in Brain Damage's place.  

 

Finally, Nick Gage the CZW Heavy-weight champ defended the title at the main event.

 

In sum, this crazy show deserved 10-hour flight. I'll will be there again in the future.

Aloha! Last week I made a trip to the East Coast of the United States.

 

The main purpose of the trip was to watch the CZW (Combat Zone Wrestling) show at New Alhambra Arena (former ECW Arena!) in South Philadelphia

 

but I've had various kinds of experiences during the trip.

Aloha! On February 13, WWE held a RAW live show at Neal Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu after an interval of one year and four months.

 

Full house of fans had an exciting time.

 

This time we were not allowed to bring in SLR cameras so I have no pics of the show.

Aloha! At the main event of 2.9 HCW Saturday Nite Slam, "Samoan Stallion" Ativalu, got the title shot for HCW Kamehameha world championship by getting a fall.

 

Ativalu has become Inter-Island and HCW Kekaulike tag-team cahmp. So if he wins the Kamehameha title, he will get his third belt.

 

Meantime, I heard Micah, current Kamehameha champ, got NWA UN title by beating Yoshihito Sasaki in Japan. 

 

They will fight in March SNS.

 

 

 

 

Aloha! At HCW Saturday Nite Slam held on Jan. 12,  Toa Samoa became new HCW tag-team champions by beating Mr.Wrestling 3 & Kaimana.

 

Before the match injured Mr.Wrestling 2 coceded Kaimana the tag-team belt but Kaimana did a double cross in the match.

 

Angry Mr.Wrestling 3 provoked a battle for ZERO1-MAX US championship against Kaimana and beat him by DQ.

 

Toa Samoa siding with Kaimana have become a extremely formidable team.

 

Who can beat them?

 

   

 

Aloha! AZW made their great start of this year at "Battleclash Ⅲ”　on January 7.

 

The Rage has become AZW champ by beating Kris Kavanaugh.

 

Devilshock denfended their AZW tag team title by surviving in fatal 4 elimination tag-team match. 

 

At this match, Naruki Doi & Masato Yoshino made an impressive debut in the AZW ring, although they had been eliminated after elimination of Old School Outlaws.

 

The other Japanese wrestlers from Dragon Gate, CIMA and Susumu Yokosuka,  made their wins against Larry Sweeney from ROH and Kaniala respectively.   

 

Lopaka, the first HCW Kamehameha champ, appeared the ring and gave masks to Sex Bomb Cholo and Kris Kavanaugh.

 

Their next show will be held in March.

Aloha! On December 16, two brand new champions were born at O lounge, the new HCW venue, located in Ala Moana. 

 

  

 

Ativalu is the New HCW Inter-Island champ and Hikaru is the new HCW world women's champ.

HCW is coming back to Ala Moana on Dec. 16. The venue is only one minute from Shopping center but it's a little bit hard to find the entrance.

 

First, go torward America's Mattress on Kapiolani Blv. And you can see a slose beside it. Just go up! Thers is The O lounge.

Aloha! At AZW Halloween Hangover 3, Mark Anarchy survived in a 4-way elimination match to become the No.1 contender for AZW Heavy-weight championship.

 

Delirious from ROH showed crazy actions to fans and got applause(?) but finally Anarchy tapped him out.

 

The other wrestler from ROH, Jimmy Jacobs also fought well against AkuA.

On Oct. 13, Mr.Wrestling3 succeeding legend Mr.Wrestling2 made a debut at HCW Saturday Nite Slam.

 

Surprisingly, Mr.Wrestling 2 & 3 wrested HCW Kekaulike Tag-Team title from Manu Samoa, Superfly Ete & Ativalu! Mr.Wrestling2 may be the oldest champ in history.

 

Japan's Hikaru got her first win in Hawaii at a "Loser retires" match. Hikaru can wresle again but "loser" Tsunami is gonna retire, unfortunately.

 

Tracy Taylor beat Saki Maemura, current AWA women's champion, at a non-title match. This is Saki's first match in HCW but she is supposed to clean all beach toilets n Hawaii!

Saki Maemura is coming to Hawaii to face "Island Girl" Tracy Taylor.

 

This 22-year-old small wrestler has just gotten the AWA Women's title from Jamie D, Canadian big woman.              

 

She has many finishing moves such as Saki-hanamaru, Hanamaru-dokkan, Saki-tunnel, etc.......        

 

If you wanna make sure what they are, come to HCW Saturday Nite Slam on October 13th.                          

 

  

 

 OMG. Tracy Taylor lost her EWA belt due to Fuka's submission in Osaka, Japan.

 

 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

 She should've remembered Fuka is a good MMA fighter.

 

 

 

 

   On October 7 at Osaka, Japan, HCW Tracy Taylor takes on Japan's Fuka to defend EWA world women's title.

 

   Fuka made a debute in 2004 at Jd' promorotion to which Tsunami belonged in Japan.

 

   Fuka is well-known as an idol wrestler but has another background as an MMA fighter.

At NWA Hawaii's show in Kalihi Valley, Sickdog defends the Heavy-weight title by disqualification.

 

Before the main event, Sickdog's son was attacked by TLA and Tui and got injured.

 

Sickdog avenged his son in the Main event by beating Tui, the challenger.

 

JT Wolfen has become No.1 contender by beating Kapu. So the next title match is gonna be ECC(East Coast Connection) showdown, Sickdog vs. Wolfen?

 

Ricky Thunder comes back as a partner of Sulu Afi.  

 

 

 

Aloha, wrestling fans! Last night, husband and wife got the world title respectively in double main events at HCW Saturday Nite Slam.

 

"Wife" Tracy taylor won a triple threat match against Japan's Hikaru and Malia Hosaka by pinning Hikaru to become the EWA world women's champion.

 

Losers, Hikaru and Mr. Nakamura, got hotel cancellation and were obliged to slept out.

 

"Husband" Mike Taylor won a hard-hitting match against Kaimana to become the HCW Kamehameha world heavy-weight champion. 

 

Both will make a tour to Japan as the world champ soon.

 

Wrestlers from outside promotions such as Durango and Chilango from L.A. Inoki Dojo and Brian Logan from AWA APEX Wrestling pumped up the show.

 Aloha! Unfortunately, taking pictures at AZW "Showdown2007" was prohibited, so there are no pictorial reports.

 

The show was great.

 

Kris Kavanaugh beat CIMA from Dragon Gate, the winner of Battle of Los Angels 2007 and defended the AZW Heavy-weight title.

 

Devilshock also defended the AZW Tag-team title by beating Sabaki & Shingo Takagi from Japan.

 

Arguably, the showdown of Dragon Gate, Dragon Kid vs. Susumu Yokosuka, was most applaused from the audience at the night.

 

Good job, AZW and Dragon Gate!
